Cool G108 is a device coming from China and it is a pretty original creation. The G108 has a round face and a clamshell design. Under the watch-face hood there is a 1.5-inch, 256k color display, circular RAZR-style keypad and a 1.3MP camera. Cool G108 measures 51 x 51 x 20 millimeters (2.0 x 2.0 x 0.78 inches) and weighs 65 grams (2.29 ounces).

This wall mounted fireplace called Gaya was created by designer Roderick Vos for Safretti. The Fireplace has a high quality stainless steel, deep black painted frame and uses bioalcohol. The design is simple and clean, and the torch-like effect is unique. Usage of bioalcohol that has been repeatedly cleaned and filtered makes this fireplace safe and eco-friendly as it’ll only emit 7.1kW of heat if you burn a liter of fuel in an hour.

Sanindusa Flow

The Flow is an elegant minimalistic piece of bathroom furniture by Sanindusa of Portugal. Simple and geometric form of this wall-hung washbasin offers new interpretation of what a sink should look like. This futuristic wash basin is a simple circle with space for the water to flow. The Flow allows the cascade of water to disappear into the gap cut out of the smooth ceramic surface.

“No-key Keyboard” by Kong Fanwen is a concept design that as its name suggests features a simple piece of glass with keys etched on its surface. The keyboard uses light source to shine through the glass and illuminate etched details in the glass allowing user to see keys. Mounted mini-camera with motion capture technology used to watch for your ‘key presses’ and then transmits it to a PC via standard USB connection.

Virtual Wall Concept

Designer Hanyoung Lee has come out with innovative road safety idea, the Virtual Wall concept. It is designed to increase driver and pedestrian awareness and to encourage both to follow crosswalk rules. The wall would consist of laser beams showing pedestrians walking or some message to stop cars. Laser aren’t harmful to car, but the effect is very strong to aware drivers.

Christiaan Postma Clock

Dutch designer Christiaan Postma figured out how to put together more than 150 individual clockworks and made them work together to become one clock. The show the progress of time by letting the numbers be written in words by the clockworks. For example, the word “five” starts to emerge at around 4:30 and is perfectly readable at exactly 5:00 o’clock. Then it slowly begins to disappear as the word “four” emerges elsewhere on the clockface. Take a look at the animation on to see this effect in action.
