The Space Cube PC

Posted on November 16th, 2008 in Tech & Gadgets

The Space Cube has been developed by the Shimafuji Corporation and it’s probably the world’s smallest personal computer. A 300 MHz CPU, 64MB of DDR SDRAM, 16MB of onboard memory, USB, VGA, Ethernet and RS232 ports inside 2 x 2 x 2.2in (52 x 52 x 55mm) square chassis. The Space Cube runs a version of Red Hat Linux off a 1GB CompactFlash card that fits into the slot on the side of the Space Cube. Is this what the computer of the future looks like?
