Devign Globe

Designers Mike Davis and Mark Ital from RED (Research Engineering Design) Design Office has created Devign Globe, innovative mood lighting in the form of a globe. Devign Globe neutral design which compliments every interior whether hanging by an acrylic thread from the lounge ceiling or sitting on the acrylic ring in the office. When suspended the globe is optically freed as an object and appears to float in space. Pressing the dimmer switch illuminates the globe and the political information which is printed on the inside. Borders, country names and city names glow from within the globe. The neutral colours of the globe allow for the creation of many lighting moods through the installation of different coloured bulbs.
