Rubik’s Lamp

Rubik’s lamp is an innovative project created by Eric Pautz based on the popular toy. Much like the original Rubik’s cube, the lamp is composed of 26 smaller cube-like pieces, whose interlocking shapes fit onto each other. The rotation of each face of the main cube allows the arrangement of up to forty-three quintillion different combinations, each one providing different lighting. Colored patterns and chaotic, kaleidoscopic lighting can be created by not leaving the main rows parallel to each other. Rubik’s Lamp is a creative solution for customized lighting, and, just like the original toy, presents itself as a fun, challenging puzzle.
