Laser Beam Frequency Collection Device

Posted on April 13th, 2009 in Tech & Gadgets

The ‘Laser Beam Frequency Collection Device’ created by David Lowe provides the simplest, most discreet solution to an antenna. No more cluttered rooftops, no more bad reception during stormy weather.

The product is only 6 inches in diameter and is made of highly durable materials. It is powered by solar energy and uses a rechargeable battery to allow it to work at night.

All components are connected to the printed circuit board (PCB) so as to standardize production and to help in mass manufacture. The PCB contains all the electronics required to safely connect the solar panel to the battery, battery to laser diode and collection grid to coaxial socket. All relevant electronics required to regulate charge correctly to optimize the life of all the components are also present on the PCB.

The collection grid collects the electromagnetic energy from the laser beam and supplies it to the television for a clean signal.
