Book-MARK by Avnish Gautam

Recently we have published the article on FavBook bookmark. It seems like the idea of this bookmark was not so original. In 2007 New Delhi, India based designer Avnish Gautam was granted the RED Dot Award in Illumination category for his Book-MARK concept.

Book-MARK is a combination of bookmark and a light source, which can be used while reading at night, without disturbing others around you. It is thin and flexible sheet made out of embedded FOLEDs (flexible organic LEDs) which can glow. Its intensity of light can also be controlled according to the user requirement.
