Breathing Chair by Wu Yu-Ying
Posted on February 12th, 2010 in Interiors
Breathing chair created by Taiwanese industrial designer Wu Yu-Ying is made of recyclable thermoplastic polyurethane foam. This elastic material allows the chair to change it’s shape under the sitter’s weight. The holes in the chair aren’t random – they are used to control chair’s form and prevent the sitter from sinking too far into the chair.
