Watch3 by Steven Goetz

Swiss designer Steven Götz has created limited and numbered edition of watches called Watch3. the watch’s face is pretty clean: to improve readabilit author decided to print hours on the underside of the sapphire crystal using the same color as the dial. The numbers are visible only when large hour hand passes underneath, thus giving them easy-to-read black background. To make Watch3 usable in the dark, the entire white surface of the dial is covered in Luminova, a non radioactive, non toxic, phosphorescent paint based on the luminescence of deepsea fish.
