Cave Tent by Heimplanet

Stefan Clauss and Stefan Schulze Dieckhoff, founders of the German company Heimplanet Entwicklungs created The Cave – an inflatable geodesic dome, which offers one of the most interesting designs.

It has got the most efficient and stable structure – the molecular structure of a diamond. We call it the IDG – the Inflatable Diamond Grid. Pitching takes less than a minute. You take the tent out of the bag you pump it up and you are ready to feel at home. There are no parts to put together. It is not even necessary to use any line to stabilize the structure, unless you expect a storm to arise. While the tent is sized for 2–3 persons to sleep in, its “Round Ground” design offers space for up to six persons to sit together.
