Local Material Lamp by Gil Sheffi

Israeli designer Gil Sheffi of Bakery Studio has created a small table lamp called “Local material”.

“The partially enclosed shade is developed by pressing handwoven rattan panels into molds where they remain for 24 hours. A plastic frame outlines the curvaceous form and supports both the light bulb and base to complete the lamp.”
