Pixel Bench by Not Tom

London-based design studio Not Tom has created a bench seating system called “Pixel Bench” based around the module of an LCD pixel. The Pixel Bench was made for contract furniture manufacturer Sky Creations.

The clean upholstered element is supported by steel frame designed to mirror the pixel shape whilst maintaining visual lightness. One of the challenges of this project was to ensure the centre mounted frame was sturdy enough to take weight at the ends of the bench.
