Mesh Lamp by Hiroomi Tahara

Designer from Milan Hiroomi Tahara has created the ‘Mesh’ table lamp, that uses a lightweight mesh for its shade.

“Since heat from the light bulb can be released from material’s holes, a mesh shade can cover not only the sides but also the top of the lamp. This slight change allows the shade to be placed easily on top of a simpler metal structure and also creates a more even distribution of light.

The amount of light diffused can be controlled by changes in the shade’s design”.
