Barstool #53 by Krisztian Griz

Designer from Finland Krisztian Griz has created the barstool named ‘#53′ for Finnish company Selka-Line Oy. Although the #53 was positively reviewed, it was not chosen for production.

“#53 was viewed as a timeless design, featuring typical Scandinavian minimalism. It uses a simple construction, made from aluminum and wood, thus making the product highly eco-friendly (aluminum being 100% recyclable, and wood being renewable), while also using very little material. Additionally, the seat part and a footrest are made from the same mold. Barstool #53 measures in at 850 mm high with a base radius of 200 mm.”
