R Sofa by Alejandro Castro for Pirwi

Mexican designer Alejandro Castro has created the ‘R’ collection of sofas for Mexican brand Pirwi.

“The R sofas were developed with intimate spaces in mind, such as a living room or a TV room, where a very comfortable seat for long periods of time is required. Inspiration came from the view of open shutters, with light filtering through the structural grid of the armchair. The exposed joinery emphasizes the openness of the design language.”
