P.O.V. Vase by Nightshop

Ward van Gemert and Adriaan van der Ploeg of Dutch design studio Nightshop (check also their Lightweight Lamp) have presented the unique P.O.V. Vase, which changes color when you walk around it.

“The P.O.V. vase by Nightshop is a vase which changes color when you walk around it. Quite magical if you ask us. The name P.O.V. means ‘point of view’, a term coming from the film industry, and basically means the angle from which the viewer is looking. Made out of different kinds of plastics, the P.O.V. vase measures 400 mm in height and 180 mm in width (widest point). It will come in an endless variety of colors and patterns.”
