Sweep Table by Lucas Martin

Young industrial designer Lucas Martin has created the unusual table called ‘Sweep’.

“Taking inspiration from Japanese rock gardens, glass vessels break the tabletop surface, doubling as functional containers.

A culmination of three elemental materials, the Sweep table embodies the harmony that exists between beauty and strength.

The table top is created from several planks glued together. These pieces were cut from a single twelve foot white oak board.”
