Shell Chair by Marco Sousa Santos for Branca

Portuguese designer Marco Sousa Santos has created the Shell for his new product and accessory label Branca. A large and comfortable Shell lounge chair is composed of exposed plywood.

“An array of wooden pieces disperse into a cocoon shape, supported by a organically emerging legs. The ribs are intended to hold pillows and cushion which would adjust to any body shape while allowing each user to personalize their own small sanctuary.”
