Who Is Watching You Lamp by ALLT Studio

Peter Simonik and Elena Bolcekova of Slovak design studio ALLT have created the ‘Who Is Watching You’ light that can be used as a table lamp or wall lamp.

“Object is an intersection of a simplistic approach to typology and of a citation of semantically loaded element of cityscapes – CCTV camera. The conflict between systematic solution of urban criminality and breach into privacy leads to contemplation about the power of unlimited data recording. The objectivity of data themselves is in the end subjected to evaluation of individuals on the other side. Lamp is to be used as a table lamp or can be hung on walls.”
